I'm the owner and premiere designer of LesAnn's Creations! I was introduced to sewing at a very young age by my "Auntie" Mary L. Carter. I would sit at her feet as she consistently sewed for a social club in which she was a member. I was fascinated and knew this would be a niche for me!

I have sewn for 35-plus years and done alterations for approximately 12 years. I list these skills separately as it takes a totally different skill set to alter garments and make these items look as if they had never been touched.

I have sewn mostly for family, friends and church members over the years. In the last 7-10 years I have ventured out more to challenge my sewing skills. I made the decision to create a company to market my sewing skills with others outside my comfort zone. Thus, LesAnn's Creations was birthed.

I had a wonderful learning experience working for a designer whose work has been displayed at Columbia Style week 2012 and 2013 as well as Style Exhibition 2013. I was thrilled for the opportunity to experience a taste of the ever evolving fashion world! I knew after this adventure that I could no longer stand in the background of others success but I needed to stand in the foreground of mine.

So my skill set I say is a mile long...lol! What I love to do is create and draft my own designs or replicate a version of some article of clothing that I seen for myself or others. I have designed and created trendy, casual clothing, sleepwear, semi-formal and formal clothing for all ages but my passion are dressing curvygirls!
