I am a 19 year old black girl who is proud to call herself an African women. The reason why I find it important to mention that I'm black is because I believe that it defines me as a person. This blog is a platform for me to raise awareness about the issues that are affecting black girls in today's society. I am interested in so many things about today's world but particularly the way that we, the millenniums think and the way that we tackle the situations we face. The exploration of black girl’s hair and the impact of speaking about it in society is what this blog focuses on. It is a topic that is close to my heart as it as it is an argument I face almost every day of my life.
