I graduated from Skyline High School in Ann Arbor Michigan, and I'm currently attending Washtenaw Community College for my freshman year. I have become reacquainted with my love for math and I have always loved science but the automotive maintenance and body repair courses I've taken have really inspired me to learn the engineering behind airplanes. One day, I hope to build my own. I was a founding member of the Skyline FIRST robotics team and now, I'm volunteering as a mentor for this year’s team.

I’ve loved the sky for as long as I can remember, and I finally decided to pursue my passion in flying at Western Michigan University. My flight experience is limited to two EAA Young Eagles flights (one at age 9 and another at 16), in which I was allowed to take the controls. I will be starting my flight training in the fall, and I'm so excited!

At Western, I will be dual majoring in Aviation Flight Science (piloting) and Biology. I also hope to continue my language learning (another one of my passions). I am nearly fluent in Spanish. I'm slowly teaching myself French, and I am learning Arabic in school. In the future, I would like to work in biological field research, conservation, or disaster relief.
