I've enjoyed being a bead artist for over 25 years. It is quite a spiritual art form in addtion to providing immense creative satisfaction.

My work incorporates timeless, traditional beading techniques along with some wonderful Native American beading. I typically love structure and monochromatic themes but currently I'm finding a new and somewhat different 'me' and this discovery is allowing my creativity to soar in an entirely new direction. Everything is now much more free, wild & colorful!

The beaded bra you see here, is titled Sophia's Garden. I created this piece in 2005-2006 ; it was donated for the breast cancer Bravo auction and fundraiser, held at the Hauptman Woodward Medical Research Center, Buffalo NY. womenstories.org
