I'm Leslie Barden, a senior Marketing Major at UMass Amherst. I'm from Hyde Park, MA which is a neighborhood in the city of Boston, but I currently live in Amherst, MA. I graduated from Boston Latin School in 2012, and I expect to graduate from Umass in May, 2016. After graduation I'd really like to work in either marketing or human resources for a non-profit or a hospital, specifically Dana-Farber or the Jimmy Fund. I think it would be incredible to wake up everyday and go to work for a cause that is important to you, and I hope I get the chance to do that. I'm a competitive person and I like to challenge myself, especially physically. I have done a Tough Mudder and the BAA Half Marathon, and I can't wait until I can say I have completed a full marathon. I'm also an outdoorsy person, and I love to go hiking, camping, fishing- anything that gets me in the outdoors. I'm an outgoing, fun-loving girl and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me!
