Leslie Marshall is an independently licensed professional clinical counselor with10 years of professional helping experience. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Leslie also serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Directions Counseling Group.
Leslie has pursued specialized training to work with individuals who have experienced physical, psychological or emotional trauma. No matter when a trauma occurred, it is difficult to discuss. Leslie is committed to taking the time necessary to help her client feel comfortable in processing the event in order to improve relationships, restore peace and experience greater satisfaction in life.
Leslie is also recognized as an ADHD specialist. As a former Behavior Specialist at a school for children with ADHD, she provided seminars to educate teachers and parents on how to help children with ADHD succeed. In addition to public speaking, Leslie enjoys helping parents develop family rules, healthy boundaries and effective behavior modification methods. She also helps adults with ADHD develop new skills to improve organization, reduce impulsivity and excel at work.
Leslie is a member of EMDRIA, the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association; ISST&D, the International Society of Trauma and Dissociation; and, CHADD, the national organization for Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder. Leslie also provides webcam consults online for individuals requesting service from their home or remote location.
