Hi! My name is Leslie Martinez and I am a designer and recently completed my MS in Integrated Digital Media from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. I'm passionate about finding solutions for problems through better design. I'm a problem solver and systems thinker.
In January of 2016 I joined a team of researchers from Design for America of NYU in conducting prototyping at an IDEO.org project site in Kathmandu, Nepal. You might have seen me running demo sessions for the NYC Media Lab. Previously I've worked as a communications manager for an art organization in Guatemala and has also spent several years providing legal services to unaccompanied immigrant minors in South Florida. I, and my collaborators at The Digital Citizens Lab, are recipients of the 2016 Processing Fellowship.
