I have been painting since about 1971, starting mainly with landscapes and seascapes. In recent years I`ve become very interested in pointillism and making copies of Old Masters and Impressionist works.

I research carefully all of the copies I paint and whenever possible I try to get to see the originals. This is very useful for making sure I get as near as is possible to the originals colours.

My paintings are in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Spain, The Peoples Republic Of The Yemen, The USA, Canada and Italy. In 2010 I won a world wide art competition with my portrait of Joss Stone as Anne Of Cleves in the TV series The Tudors. I have also had paintings published as greeting cards in recent years.
