Leslie Linares Lopez

Washington, Dc Metro Area

On September 25th, 2014, four months after graduating from my bachelor's degree, I moved from Puerto Rico to Washington, DC to pursue my first professional opportunity as a Business Development Specialist at an Interpretation and Translation company.

Before moving permanentely to DC I did a few internships, ranging from Walt Disney World to State goverment to Federal goverment to Non-profits.

Given that I don't know that many people in the city I mostly spend my time off reading, blogging, watching youtube channels and on netflix, all of these activities can be done indoors which is very convenient when you are a latin girl living in 30 degree weather. Sunday brunches and shopping are often a part of this mixture.

I believe that with new opportunities come new begginings, and am very excited for what the future has waiting for me.
