Leslie Koonce

A retired financial planner based in Menlo Park, California, Leslie Koonce owned Koonce Financial Services from 1982 to 2018, during which time he provided insurance and investment management services to more than 400 clients. Leslie Koonce worked in the wealth management industry for more than four decades and earned membership into multiple top production clubs during his career. He is also a past recipient of Peninsula Life Underwriters' Insurance Professional of the Year award.

Leslie Koonce served on the boards of several professional membership groups. He's a past president of the Penn Mutual Life Agents Advisory Council and Peninsula Life Underwriters Association and has been a member of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council and Million Dollar Roundtable. Complementing his extensive experience, he holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Campbell University.

Active in his local community, Mr. Koonce is president of the Marin County Big Brothers Big Sisters and a member of the Menlo Park Kiwanis Club. He received the George Hixson Award from the latter organization. He's also a deacon at Menlo Church and a group leader in Bible Study Fellowship.
