I am a curious woman, always asking the deep questions, and constantly trying to learn from my mistakes and the experiences I've had in my life. I believe that everything that happens can teach you something. About yourself. About others. About what not to do. About what to focus on more. About what to toss aside so you can think about what's important.

Everything has value. Whether that be something you're habitually doing - like brushing your teeth - or something you've done only once in your entire life - like hiking Havasu Canyon with your best girlfriend. Easy things teach us quickly. It's the hard stuff you have to ruminate on in order to glean the most valuable portions.

I enjoy reading about the silent heroes who keep forging on, even when everything seems to be going wrong, because I know that if they are pressing on, then I can too.

I have a wonderful husband who I met in college and a beautiful daughter, who continually challenges me to become the best mother I can be. I love my family and I wouldn't trade them for the world. :)
