Based in Nassau, Bahamas, Lester Turnquest has served as the managing director of the Green Bay Group, Ltd., for the past decade. Focused on driving corporate transformation, he offers consulting services regarding working capital management, strategy and operations, and globalization. Lester Turnquest engages closely with financial executives in evaluating operational performance and designing business best practices that drive high returns on investment.
Mr. Turnquest studied business, accounting, and mercantile law at the College of the Bahamas and subsequently earned his BS in economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States. He also received certification in portfolio management and real estate product management from the Citibank Training Facility.
From 1982 to 1996, Mr. Turnquest was a vice president with Bank Leu, Ltd., and was responsible for companies and trusts. He also served as an executive officer with the Bahamian Ministry of Finance and worked within the Revenue Department to administer the Business License Act. Lester Turnquest later served as a member of the Bahamian Parliament and as the Secretary of the Ministry of Health.
