Les Thompson was born in New York City on September 27th, 1975. He graduated from Samuel Gompers Vocational Technical High School in the Bronx in 1993 and then attended Baruch College from August 1993 till January 1995. Les took a full time clerical position and put college aside to take care of his ailing mother who was recovering from a hysterectomy operation. After becoming a branch supervisor in 1996 Les was eventually terminated from the New York Public Library for improper use of their circulation system network, revealing early signs of his hacking nature and his misunderstood genius when it came to computers. After various temp jobs, In 1998 Les found stable employment in the field of document scanning, then following his mother's footsteps he started working for Chase Bank doing Lockbox Data Entry. Les was very socially awkward hence, he rarely befriended his co-workers. They in turn alienated him to the point that he changed his career path in the direction of Healthcare becoming an Enrollment Specialist in 2000 for HealthFirst. The position was not without it's challenges and difficulties, a severe audit brought change and restructure with most of the faulty managers relieved of duty. Surviving unscathed, Les was finally at a moment of peace and content, enjoying his position and comfortable in his work environment for the first time in over 5 years. Until tragedy struck. The terrorist attack at the World Trade Center on September 11th changed Les Thompson's life forever.
