I first got the bug of music from - getting into breakdancing and hip hop & electro music

One evening early in 1988 i was taken by a friend to an underground acid party, ENERGY From this moment i was 'hooked' on the "Acid House Music" movement and Culture" At this point i began to go to places like the Legendary 'Shoom' parties, the original 'Clink Street' parties, also the infamous 'fitness cente, parties held at London Bridge. the biology parties At this time i was listening to all the underground 'pirate' stations including: Sunrise FM, FantasyFM and CentreForce FM. I went to all of their ' warehouse acid parties in and surrounding the M25 and London, and far too many other parties and names to mention!!

In 1992 I took my decks,mixer, vinyl & moved to Torquay in Devon with the opportunity to manage a club, Face2Face(The Monastery). By this time i was playing early Breakbeats, Jungle/Techno. i was also promoting/djing various parties on beaches, in coves and woodlands,boat parties, all in and around the Devon area. The most infamous was when we set up a 20K system with smoke, lights etc. bang opposite Dartmoor Prison.

We were expecting 300 people, through word of mouth. Fortunately, by 12.30am there were nearly 1800 people, and still coming! Unfortunately the police turned up 3 times and said the music was being 'heard' up to 10 miles away! They subsequently came back at 7am and 'stole' the generator, including the back-up. This is one of my fondest memories of the "old days". I can still see the look on the "old bill" faces, they were defeated and lost..

1995 I was back living in London and, by this time my musical taste had swayed heavily to the hard house sound, courtesy of my old pal, "The Jester ". i was now hooked on this sound. The sound i was hearing was "euphoric" and as funky as fuck and i was was introduced to the "Hoover". My biggest influences of this sound being: Mr Tony D’vit(RIP),johnny newell [rr fierce][rip] The Captain(Tinrib), DJ Karim, Lab4, steve Thomas, pete wardman and far too many others to mention. Myself, and "The Jester" started doing our own parties at the Wine Cellar (Woolwich), also promoting our own night at Dorringtons' (Meantime) [now that club] working directly for Tamer Hassan (Football Factory) I was also doing Radio shows for 'indulgence fm' in Essex and also SEX 93FM my local radio.I was also going to various underground clubs including club uk, leisure lounge,Camden palace,
