I have a passion for dancing and everything about music. My 3 children and 6 grandchildren are my joy. Loving my people and helping them fulfill their passion, get and stay fit with a positive mental attitude is my mission. I am a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, teacher and friend. I have been a professional dancer since 1993 and disc jockey for 10 years. My dance troupe, Vanessa's Nubian Bootscooters was established in 1994. We perform with Cowboy Soul, America’s Premier Cowboy Band. Currently, I teach line dancing. My dance studio, Vanessa's Positive Energy offers Detroit Ballroom, Soul Line Dance and Chicago Steppin',. Our current schedule includes classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We celebrate birthdays, dance and eat at our monthly Saturday night socials.
