I'm a working professional makeup artist in Calgary. A Vancouver Film School graduate, I have worked in Alberta Film/TV since 2004 and as part of an Emmy Award Winning Makeup Department in IATSE 212.
The variance of freelancing is what drives me to stay engaged. What other occupation could allow me to paint horses, create intestines, or cover a newborn in pie filling?! While high definition commercial, corporate and production work keeps me busy, I absolutely still enjoy wedding and boudoir makeups and the personal experiences that come with them.
