Howdy! I’m Liz Letsoalo, an Entrepreneur as well as a TEDx Speaker based in South Africa. I have founded a beauty ecosystem that is aimed to transforming the beauty industry, and that operates through 2 brands:

i) Masodi Organics, an online beauty shop that makes and sells sustainably made beauty products inspired by nature. This is part of my efforts to transform the politics of beauty and its standards as well as influence the culture of unsustainable consumption of resources and production of goods to ensure that we can preserve the planet for future generations. I am very passionate about and driven by politics, both of history, the current day and of the future. I’m also interested in innovation, education and socio-economic initiatives both in South Africa and globally.I've done work in strategy and operations with 3 multinational companies (Unilever, PwC and McKinsey), and have now ventured into entrepreneurship on a full-time basis.

I am an active citizen who's on a journey to public office, and have had the privilege to start this journey with the support of Apolitical Academy's Inaugural Fellowship Program. I'm also a Global Shaper, an initiative of the World Economic Forum that leverages active youth across the globe to create impact by solving societal problems immediate to their communities. I have the privilege of being a Deputy-Curator of this group of trailblazers, and continue to learn from them as we work tirelessly to effect the world positively.
