I've been writing for as long as I can remember. In fact some of my fondest memories are of me either sitting at the kitchen table with a pencil in hand and a notebook in front of me or typing away at my computer.
Poetry has always been a passion of mine. I've written several over the past decade. As you would expect poetry from a fourteen year old is nowhere near what I would call good however, I do find a certain pleasure in reading my beginner stuff, laughing at some of the lines and misunderstanding of the English language, (apparently I didn't know how to use a dictionary lol).
Currently I've been working on several short stories and and a Kids book. Both of which I am enjoying way to much. Why having so much fun isn't illegal I don't know.
I'm also working on the site LetsSeeAugusta.wordpress.com. I was born and raised in Augusta and while the summers are usually unbearable I absolutely love it here.
I have other hobbies other than writing, of course. I'm a huge gamer. I love playing RPGs like Final Fantasy and The Elder Scrolls. Games like Dragonage are just phenomenal. I have literally put in hundreds of hours into these games. But this is nowhere near the amount of time I've put into reading.
I'm not the biggest fan of most modern books. I really prefer the classics. Books like "The Catcher in the Rye" and "Flowers for Algernon". "1984", "We". "Fahrenheit 451" and just loads of other ones.
When I was in my early teens I was introduced to the Redwall books by a friend. I was crazy about them. I loved how corny some of the lines were. Lines like: "I'll let daylight into your insides!" Those books really stuck to me. I read everyone that I could get my hands on.
There is just so much that I wish that I could say here but as it is I've already written what would amount to a short book. Thanks for sticking with this.
