Lloyd Levine

I am a former member of the California State Legislature, and now President of Filament Strategies, LLC, a Sacramento based consulting firm. I have extensive experience in public affairs, communications, public policy and politics. I focus on green issues and technology.

While in the Legislature, I served as Chair of the Committee on Utilities and Commerce where I developed significant policy expertise in energy, telecommunications, technology and environmemntal issues.

I am skilled at crafting messages and devising strategic communications campaigns. I understand the impact public affairs and communications can have on perceptions and use my expertiese to create effective public affairs campaigns.

I am also an author and frequently asked to write articles on a variety of topics for publications ranging from local newspapers and magazines to international law journals. I have spoken at conferences and events around the world and been frequently interviewed as a subject matter expert by state, national, and international news institutions, including the BBC, 60 Minutes, and the New York Times.
