A recent graduate of Harvard with an A.B. in psychology, Lelaina now spends her time as the co-director of the Underlings Theatre Co. She is fascinated by how the stories we tell, in turn, tell stories about us.

Previous directing credits include Madeleine George's The Most Massive Woman Wins and Julia Jordan's Smoking Lesson, as well as Players, a new play by Alice Abracen. She is the author of Ada, Soon, which premiered at the 2017 Providence Fringe Festival.

Her proudest accomplishment was an experimental, 8-person production of Hamlet on the Loeb Drama Center's MainStage.

In spring 2018, she will be directing Romeo & Juliet: Performed in the Original Pronunciation and Alice Abracen's drama The Tour, both with the Underlings Theatre Co.
