A goal oriented, determined, and energetic young woman I am. I am one of the biggest advocates of women's health; not only medically, but holistically. Women's health is the well-being of a female individual who feels that she is spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially stable to be independent for herself and others. My interest in women's health took par when I began to take Women's Studies classes at the University of Michigan. My particular field of interest is reproductive health. Thus, my ultimate goal is to obtain a medicine degree in Physician Assistant (P.A) and hope to own a birthing center. I found this field to be interesting because the way the female body works is unique and different from males. The fetal development and reproductive changes fascinates me to continue my studies as a Women's Studies major so I can make the world a better place for expecting mothers. To strive for this goal, I implemented in a new quote, " I am reliable, but still imperfect." I rely on myself to continue my education as successful as possible but remind myself that I still will make mistakes on the way. Therefore, I live my life the best way I can to follow my dreams.
