i am a self proclaimed fabric artist. i enjoy the challenge of taking traditional blocks and themes and making them my own through the use of textiles.

i have been sewing since i was 10, a very long time ago, according to some. and have found my way into the arena of quilt making. having been brought up with quilts, traditional, i thought i would not be interested in making them. then i discovered that art pieces could be made...and i really like that.

i am not formally trained. however, i do read and study and "see" things differently/uniquely. and i believe that is most helpful.

my hope is to please, inspire, and help...
