Lindsay Giacomino

Lindsay Giacomino received her Bachelors in Linguistics and Spanish Language from Saint Cloud State University in 2012, and is a current Fulbright Scholar for 2013-2014. She is an assistant professor at the Universidad de Boyacá in Tunja and works at the non-profit organization Fundación Juventas. She writes about her experience as an American in Colombia, as well as about Colombian culture, teaching English, socio-political linguistics, and daily life in the often misunderstood country of Colombia. She lives in the city of Tunja and is learning to live and love like a Colombiana.
