Lee Goddard (He/Him)

Lived experience advisor in London

My name is Lee Goddard, and I am a live experience and social justice campaigner with a particular focus on mental health. I am dedicated to improving mental health systems to ensure they provide the best possible support for those who have experienced or require assistance with mental health issues. Having gone through my own journey with severe mental health challenges, I am deeply passionate about suicide prevention and the principles of co-production. I work tirelessly to ensure that lived experiences are at the heart of our social and public services.

I live in Southeast London, in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and I am proud to be an active and committed member of my local community. My passion for social justice extends beyond my professional work – I am a champion for positive change and equality, advocating for those who may not always have a voice. Outside of my campaign work, I have a love for dogs and a deep passion for fitness and sports, even as a disabled person. I believe in breaking barriers and living life to the fullest, and I am committed to proving that disability should never be a limitation to pursuing an active and fulfilling lifestyle.

In addition to my advocacy, I also undertake freelance work, including keynote speaking and co-production projects. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to collaborate or learn more about my work.
