LaCreshia Griffin-Pope
casting coordinator, Filmmaker, and Producer in Saint Louis, MO
About Me
A proud native of St. Louis, Missouri and a first-generation college graduate. She graduated from Webster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production, minor in Advertising/Marketing and certificate in Leadership! She also completed a Film & TV Producing Program at New York Film Academy. As an emerging filmmaker and development executive, she is passionate about highlighting stories, people and places that are underrepresented in Hollywood and everyday life.
Starting out in music production led her into the filmmaking world. In 2018, she was apart of the 2nd cohort of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences diversity program, Academy Gold. Then went on to work as an intern and casting assistant at BET Networks in the office of Robi Reed. She was a participant in the inaugural 2020/2021 CBS Leadership Pipeline Film Competition program, part of a team that produced a short narrative film "Unread" for the non-profit group SafeBae, which won 2nd place!
In addition to producing her first film, LaCreshia is currently working as a casting coordinator at NBC Universal with dreams of becoming a development and current series executive.
