Lauren Saria is the food editor of Phoenix New Times, an alt-weekly newspaper in Phoenix, Arizona.

She earned concurrent Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Journalism, with an emphasis in digital journalism, through ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Barrett, the Honors College in May 2013.

Before joiningNew Times, she wrote for Cronkite News Service, a university-run wire service covering the Arizona State Legislature. She has experience in and can effectively communicate through a variety of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest.
