Samuel works in one of the leading online travel platforms as a government relations professional. He has a background in public policy and business development in Greater China & Southeast Asia.

Between 2017-2020, he built strategic partnerships for Singapore-based eLogistics company Janio, and helped it expand to emerging markets of Greater China, India, Indonesia. He was a senior strategy manager at venture builder & consulting firm Momentum Works, and started his career in DBS Bank.

Samuel is passionate about public policy and development issues, particularly job creation and promoting financial inclusion; in the long run, he aspires to become an entrepreneur and promote youth empowerment.

Samuel speaks English, Mandarin, conversational Cantonese, Hokkien, and basic Bahasa Indonesia; he enjoys swimming, tennis, and house kicks in Muay Thai.

Samuel holds a B.A. in diplomacy from National Chengchi University, M.Sc. in management from Tsinghua University where he studied as a Schwarzman Scholar.
