I am a support teacher at Monterey Elementary School in the San Bernardino City Unified School District. I currently run our learning center. I am also a BTSA support provider and a Tech Coach for the district.
Before I am became the support teacher for Montery I taught 2nd grade for one year, 1st grade for two years and 4th grade for 5 years.
I graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Criminal Justice. I than received my teaching from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, MA. I was than recruited to come to California to teach. In 2010 I earned my master's degree from California Baptist University.
I enjoy reading, traveling and cooking. I am currently training for my first 5k.
Creating a productive digital presence is important to both the educator and the student. A digital presence gives the educator a way to share new ideas with other educators. It also gives them a way to engage their students in their learning. For the student a productive digital presence is a way for the student to share their ideas with a larger audience.
