Hey there, I’m Liam. I’m a PhD Candidate living in Geelong. I'm exploring the motivations of international students choosing to study higher education in Australia. I am framing this research in the context of a case study using India as a reference.
As someone who has taught overseas, I am interested in why students value earning an education in English-speaking countries. I am also interested in how the international student experience can lead to more permanent forms of migration.
When I am not researching, I am an avid cricket and Australian football fan (Go Lions). If I am not watching the Lions in person or on TV, you can often find me on weekends away camping or hiking.
