My current research focuses on reconstructing past fire histories through the use of tree rings. I am broadly interested in how forest disturbance events, subsequent regeneration and land management fit together in an era of rapidly changing climate. I am also interested in GIS and remote sensing applications that can be used to better land management practices and conservation projects.
