William Liang

William spent 12 years in Silicon Valley and started his career on Wall Street. He worked for several venture backed Internet startups including Tellme, which was successfully acquired by Microsoft. He holds a B.S. degree from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania in Systems and Electrical Engineering. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, director of Idea Mill Ltd., and a cofounder of HackJam HK, Hong Kong's first hackerspace community.
