Libby runs Muskoka Buzz, a homegrown digital business focused on supporting Muskoka’s community and its hardworking small business owners. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, project management, and team leadership, she’s built a career on solving problems, getting things done, and helping others succeed—skills she now pours into contributing to Huntsville’s thriving year-round community.

Her background is all about rolling up her sleeves. She started as an e-commerce web designer for Ethel M Chocolates, learned the ropes of corporate marketing at Mercedes-Benz Canada, and later managed teams and projects for OnX Enterprise Solutions and organizations like the Canadian Association for Equality (CAFE). Along the way, she picked up a reputation for keeping projects on track, staying calm under pressure, and finding practical solutions. Former colleagues call her a “go-to” person who thrives on both big-picture strategy and the nitty-gritty work that makes things happen.

Today, Libby’s all about Muskoka. Through Muskoka Buzz, she does three things:

  1. The Muskoka Buzz Huntsville Weekly Newsletter: A no-nonsense, fun guide to what’s happening in Huntsville—think seasonal events, great places to eat, and family-friendly activities. No politics, no drama—just the good stuff.
  2. Internet Marketing Help: She works with local businesses to boost their online presence, whether that’s fixing websites, improving Google rankings, or making relatable community-focused short videos.
  3. Local Business Co-op: A practical idea where businesses team up to split the costs of mail campaigns. It’s about saving money, supporting each other, and getting the word out together.

Libby’s not into corporate buzzwords or flashy pitches. She believes in honest work, community teamwork, and giving small businesses the tools to compete. Whether she’s designing a mailer, troubleshooting a website, or sharing a conversation with a local shop owner, her goal is the same: keep Muskoka’s spirit thriving.
