I'm Libby Kenny however just call me Lib! I was born March 10th 2008 in United Kingdom in a city called Liverpool. I’d like to think I’m a passionate author who just wants to help those who need it. Some don’t know how to use their voices just yet, so I hope that my book teaches them how to. I think what makes me so passionate about helping people through my poetry is due to my own experiences, I mean that’s what my poetry is all about. I decided to use my own TRUTH to help others find their light. Trauma isn’t something people get over, it’s something you learn to live with. However, you need to make the first step in reaching out, that’s what I hope my book does for people. Helps those who need to, to speak up rather than suffer in silence any longer than they already have.

I use my written words to communicate as I struggle with verbal communication very often and to me writing has been my go to. Without my ability to write so creatively I don’t think I would have much communication in any way. I like to think I bring a fresh perspective to the literary world. I may not be as clever as those famous authors you see, but I have got all the experience and power to be just as successful. I’m not a quitter, so I’ll keep fighting.

I am Inspired by Dave Goodwin, he is the most outstanding poet from my opinion. Although, I find listening to music is 100% my biggest inspiration. I published my first book, “Words Of Truth” it’s on Amazon and Lulu.com, I’m working on making it available for a larger community. It's been a exiting yet stressful journey to say the least but I'm thrilled to share my experience and hope with those who will find comfort from my words. I have began writing my second book, a follow up called “Words Of Hope” I’m hoping it’ll be published early 2025 🤞🏻

Beyond writing, I'm also passionate about art, specifically portraits however every now and then I’ll go outside my comfort zone 😬 I find art is also how I express myself and emotions. I am also 1 of 11 kids (I’m second eldest) I am 16 years old. I have my beautiful German shepherd Roxy and my two little russian dwarf hamsters called Nobby and Dobby. And I have such important special people in my life which make life worth living.
