Lidia Belle has her masters in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston, MA. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas working within the military community of Fort Cavazos in Central Texas. As a military spouse and naturalized citizen Lidia has an innate experience and understanding of trauma and how it affects the entire community. She specializes in evidence-based trauma focused therapy interventions with individuals, families and children.

Lidia is Certified in: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and PC-Care (Parent Child-Care). Trained in CFTSI (Child and Family Trauma Symptom Intervention), Sand-Tray Therapy, PSB-PBT (Problematic Sexual Behavior - Phase Based Treatment for children aged 4 – 12) and informed in IFS ( Internal Family Systems). Lidia possesses in depth understanding and sensitivity to unique differences contributing to individualized treatment. Lidia believes that to help a child heal, changes must be made within their environment. Lidia views therapy as teamwork with the child, their supportive adults and the therapist in order to achieve peace within their present situation.

Throughout her years of experience she has acquired the knowledge and skills required in helping others understand that learned behaviors can be unlearned and new beginnings are always possible, regardless of the trauma.
