Lidiya Belete

I believe that we are all responsible for each other. I put myself through college working with at-risk youth, helping them avoid prison or chemical dependency. I have also worked with people who were trying to intergrate back into society after being discharged from mental health institutions. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature, and I believe that poetry is the most honest form of communication. Currently, I am a Public Relations assistant for a major corporation, and intern at the Seattle Art Museum, to feed my future, my soul, and my wallet. Change is not just exciting, it is necessary.
