Liesl V. McCormick

I am a self-professed nerd with a love of science education, which I do through teaching, outreach, and illustration.

I teach and coordinate the introductory biology curriculum at Pacific University. My current focus is implementing evidence-based techniques for learning science in both the classroom and lab. In the past, I was trained as a developmental neurobiologist and studied cell fate specification in the vertebrate spinal cord.
