"The Long Island Family Caregiver Coalition (LIFCC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization devoted to serving as a comprehensive resource for all of Long Island’s businesses and organizations that address the needs of family caregivers and their care recipients.

The LIFCC’s vision is to serve as Long Island’s #1 resource for businesses and organizations that serve caregivers and their care receivers. Family caregivers face many challenges as they undertake the journey to caring for a family member who needs long term care assistance. One of the biggest challenges for family caregivers is identifying and accessing resources that can help them to manage the care of their loved one. Raising awareness will encompass a multitude of activities that provide information and education on resources and support to family caregivers which will include the following.

The mission of the Long Island Family Caregiver Coalition (LIFCC) is to

serve as a comprehensive resource for all of Long Island’s (i.e., Nassau and Suffolk Counties) businesses and organizations that address the needs of family caregivers and their care recipients. The organizations comprising the Long Island Family Caregiver Coalition work together as a synergistic unit striving to enhance the quality of life of caregivers and their families through advocacy, education, allocation of resources, and provision of services.
