My name is Karen Musey and I'm delighted you are here!

I am a Usui Reiki Master teacher. I was attuned to reiki in 2009 with Barb Keshen and Geordie Numata in the Usui / Tibetan Reiki Lineage. I have served as a reiki practitioner at the Madison Square Clinic, the free clinic for addiction at the third root community center and with family, friends (furry and human) and clients.

I dealt with a dehabilitating neck injury early on in my dance career which took me down a path of exploring alternate medicine in order find realignment and healing: acupuncture, alexander technique, chiropractic, gyrotonic, pilates, feldenkrais, gaga movement, meditation, improv, laban and more.

I am a life long learner, and I am constantly in search of exploring new ways of being - ways that free me up, expand possibilities in expression and fuel my purpose. I am a dancer, SAG/AFTRA actor, director, filmmaker and artist. I am a certified as an ABT Curriculum teacher and as a gyrotonic trainer in the gyrotonic expansion system.

I am a big believer in silver linings. the wisdom and ingenuity that springs from of their seed experiences is nothing short of magic.

My intention with everyone whom I work with is to welcome in the most benevolent energy for each person and animal. to create new space for balance, open up unique creative channels and clear the way for connection back to self, and self wisdom, so that each person and animal is freer to pursue their most abundant and satisfied life.
