I am Thembelihle Mbambo a young 20 year old girl enrolled at the University of Johannesburg doing a bachelor’s degree in education, third year and majoring in IsiZulu and School guidance and support .I am supper passionate about teaching, I enjoy transferring my knowledge and skills to the less know ledged and those who are willing to learn .I am studying towards become a teacher ,as young as I am ,I think the classroom can be a fun learning space where learners can be free ,to share their thoughts and views, about anything because learning is not only learning about what is provided, we live in a constantly changing world ,the classroom should move with the direction of the changing world. Which the old traditional way of teaching doesn’t provide.
As a young and aspiring teacher I have big plans for my career ,I plan to change the world and the mindset of the students ,and it’s pretty exciting what dreams and plans I have for them to change their lives ,I just can’t wait to finish my degree and start with my teaching career
I have also just completed my short course that I was doing at Wits University language School , it is called the TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages) course ,which uses a different methodology to teach languages of which I was inspired by and I think it is a nice a fun way to teach languages using games and fun activities ,also testing the learners necessary skills in order to survive in this competitive world .I have now completed the short course and have my certificate which also allows me to teach English in any other countries in the world .
Teachers have all the responsibility to change this world that we live in, with just good quality education, we call ourselves the agents of change or the mother of all professions
