lil girl shop

Storing the fabric for a decade wasn't what Jennifer Wood had in mind when she snapped it up for $1 a yard but that's what happened. And not just for one decade... it was more like two.

In the summer of 2008, she unpacked her sewing machine and began to pin fabric together. Since her fabric collection was nearly a thousand miles away, she opened her closet and pulled out clothes that she no longer wore. Transforming old clothes into tshirt totes, pin cushions, even a baby blanket.

Finally... she had found her calling.

Whether creating snazzy handbags or a multitude of other one-of-a-kind pieces from new yardage or old clean clothes, all items uphold the notion of "functional expressions of beauty".
