I am a bilingual Hispanic communications professional with extensive experience in video production, writing, public relations, and marketing. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communication with a Major in Journalism.

Before moving to Michigan, I served as Press Secretary for a Senator and later for a House Representative in the Colombian Congress. I also worked as a reporter and production assistant for local television networks in Bogotá, Colombia.

I have lived in Michigan for a few years. While it was difficult to adjust at first, I have grown to love this beautiful state—even its winters—and especially the summers.

Currently, I am the Video Journalist and Copy Editor for Latinos En Michigan TV, a project I founded to produce local news and original content for the Spanish-speaking Latino community. My mission is to amplify Latino voices in Michigan and across the United States. Latinos make up nearly 20% of the U.S. population and are key contributors as business owners, artists, and community leaders.

I am also a co-founder of the Talentos Latinos Awards, an annual event held during Hispanic Heritage Month that honors Latino men and women making positive contributions in business, the arts, and community leadership throughout Michigan.

Together with my husband, I co-founded the Minority Education Freedom Foundation (MEFF), an organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities—primarily Latinos—through entrepreneurial education, community media, and cultural and arts initiatives. Our work focuses on expanding access to knowledge, amplifying community voices, and fostering leadership and innovation to strengthen economic mobility and resilience.
