Bioinformatician, data analyst, and Postdoc in Hannover, Deutschland
Hey, I'm Sarah Pohl. I studied biology, then worked in online marketing for a year and a half, before I did a PhD in bioinformatics. I enjoy programming in Python and in R for data analysis in my own projects and to assist others. On my tumblr, I'm also comparing data analysis methods in Python vs. R.
I'm working as a Postdoc at the Twincore in Hannover, Germany, and partly at the HZI in Braunschweig, both times in the group "Molecular Bacteriology" of Susanne Häußler.
I'm also a fan of origami, I play the trombone, and - as passionate reader - enjoy writing fiction when I can find the time. Right now I'm more focused on blogging about what I'm learning over at coursera, though.
