PhD student, Bioinformatician, and biologist in Hannover, Deutschland
Hey, I'm Sarah Pohl. I studied biology, then worked in online marketing for a year and a half, and now I'm doing my PhD in bioinformatics. I enjoy programming in Python and in R for data analysis for my own project and to assist others.
I'm working at the Twincore in Hannover, Germany, and partly at the HZI in Braunschweig, both times in the group "Molecular Bacteriology" of Susanne Häußler.
I'm also a fan of origami, I play the trombone, and - as passionate reader - enjoy writing fiction when I can find the time. Right now I'm more focused on blogging about what I'm learning over at coursera.
