In 2007, I woke up paralyzed from my waist down.
After 1-month of intense acu & herb treatments, I could finally stand on my own. I walked right out of the jungles of NYC; to the volcanoes of the Big Island; and crashed into the hustle of Vietnam.
I spent 2 years traveling all throughout South East Asia until my path led me back home.
As a recent Board of Trustees Scholarship recepient, I am currently a graduate student at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR.
My aim is to break down East Asian medicine without the esoteric-hippie stuff. Our health is an innate right; and it is our responsibility to become active participants in our well-being.
Follow me as I chronicle my path towards enlightenment without losing my urban dignity.
