Lily Krut
Student, Consultant, and Writer in East Lansing, MI
Hi! I’m Lily Krut—a student at Michigan State University, proudly studying at the Eli Broad College of Business. I’ve made the Dean’s List both my freshman and sophomore years, and I’m passionate about blending creativity, leadership, and community impact into everything I do.
I grew up in Birmingham, Michigan, where I danced at Studio A, played tennis for Groves High School, and was active in softball when I was younger. At Groves, I graduated with high honors, received the Academic Scholar Award two years in a row, and developed a love for teamwork and staying organized—skills I carry with me today.
Each summer, I work as a camp counselor at Elena Victoria Day Camps, teaching kids how to sew and make jewelry. In summer 2025, I took on an internship with Campus Ink in Chicago, where I learned more about branding, entrepreneurship, and building student-led businesses. These experiences have helped shape my career interests in fashion, marketing, and creative leadership.
Giving back has always been important to me. I volunteer at Yad Ezra to help local Jewish families with groceries, support organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Chabad, ALS research, Jewish Federation, and Care House of Oakland County, and help adopt families during the holidays through local charities. Alongside my mom, I also help run My Story, a charity focused on donating journals and art supplies to children’s shelters.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me involved in campus fashion clubs or volunteering through Chabad. I love staying connected to my community and finding creative ways to empower others.
