Academic Management, Higher Education, and Educational Evaluation in Colombia
I see higher education as a space where decision-making should be informed by evidence but also by a deep understanding of the human and social contexts in which learning takes place. Throughout my professional trajectory, I have worked in education from early stages of my career, across public and private institutions, both in Colombia and in international settings.
This sustained experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of educational systems, ranging from day-to-day operations to large-scale institutional processes. My academic training and professional experience have continuously informed one another, enabling me to build a critical and applied perspective on academic management, applied research, program evaluation, and work with diverse educational communities.
I am particularly interested in contributing to rigorous, collaborative, and ethically grounded academic environments that strengthen educational quality and enhance the social impact of universities.
