This year in the stem lab, I learned many things about i.b. prep. We first started with a bunch of fun activities like "Make stuff Mondays" where we experimented with different tools. For example, in the activity of Balloon Rockets, we used balloons, paperclips, tape, and more! It was very exciting and we learned lots!

Then as the year passed, we started getting into something called "20% project" 20% project is about using 20% of our school time in the stem lab to research and learn about our interests to help the world. I'm doing my 20% project on music therapy. Music therapy is when you can heal people with AdHd, cancer, deep depression and more just by using music. I found this very intersting and that is why I chose it as my topic. About each month or so, we do different "projects" or "products" on our topic. This month of February, I am doing the product of making a game about music therapy.

Also, every now and then, our teacher gives us some fun projects to do such as the Rube Goldberg. In this project, we were to build a machine that can make a ping pong come off of its perch. Although it was very challenging, I had lots of fun. Later, we also got to get into groups and shoot our own movies and edit them. We recently shot a movie about cyberbullying and how to help the world prevent it. During the shoot, I felt like a famous actress! It was super cool! But overall, this year so far was filled with many exciting challenges and lots of fun!
