LIN Bao Ling
Bao Ling is noted for his "illuminated" night paintings.
He obtained his BA (Hons) in Fine Arts in 2006 from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, currently pursuing a MFA in ink painting at National Taiwan Normal University (Taipei). He has received many prestigious awards, including the 2010/2011 Freeman Foundation Asian Artist Fellowship. He has exhibited in USA, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. He has had eight solo exhibitions, and numerous group exhibitions. His recent solo exhibitions were held in Soka Art Center, Taiwan in September 2011. He was the residency artist of Vermont Studio Center (USA), Marina Mandarin Hotel Singapore, Taitung Railway Art Village (Taiwan), and Plastique Kinetic Worms (Singapore).
