About Me:

Lincoln Kang grew up in rural Eagle Pass, a town of dirt roads, small shopping centers and small neighborhoods in Texas near the United States-Mexican border.

Now, he is living in San Diego. He graduated from National University with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership as a first generation Korean American Summa Cum Laude graduate. Graduated from San Diego State University with honors as a Cum Laude graduate.

Previously, worked as an Election Worker (Assistant Supervisor) for the County of San Diego Registrar of Voters Department.

Currently, he works as a Workforce Education Solutions/Live Chat Enrollment Adviser at National University.

At SDSU, Lincoln has managed a campus radio station called KCR College Radio. Some of his other areas of expertise are creating podcasts, interviewing local bands, event management, student mentorship and creating magazine ads.

Outside of journalism, he practices Brazilian Ju-jitsu, snowboarding, working out at different gyms, hiking, watching movies of all genres, listening to rock and pop music and writing adventure stories.

In order to embrace his heritage, Lincoln has participated in Taekwondo, Korean cooking, acrylic painting, Korean calligraphy and has written Korean poetry.
