I am a grade four teacher in Surrey, B.C. I integrated technology in her classroom for over 20 years. Technology is an important tool for my class as it opens new doors to the world, gives purpose to learning and provides new ways for students to communicate. I believes that you need to make learning relevant, empower the learner, and encourage collaboration in the classroom. I use project based learning to differentiate learning for all my students and technology is seamlessly entwined in her daily classes.
In 2014 I was awarded the Outstanding EducatorAward by ISTE for my contributions and successes in using and promoting technologyin the classroom
