Linda Holland

A fourth generation Nebraskan and University of Nebraska - Lincoln graduate, Linda Holland knows Nebraskan values. Linda was raised on her family's farm and knows what it means to be a hard-working, honest Nebraskan. For these reasons, she believes she is the best candidate to serve us in Congress this election.

Linda grew up on the same family farm her great- grandfather started after returning from World War I. While mucking stalls, feeding animals and corralling cattle, she was taught the same Nebraskan values her father, former governor of Nebraska Jay Holland, was taught. She learned to be honest, hardworking, and committed. While earning her nursing degree at UNL, she learned the importance of getting an education and striving to be the best you can be. Linda went on to work with seniors throughout her nursing career who had fought in the military, and she believes it is her duty to fight for them, and for Nebraskan values.

As a farmer, nurse, and mayor, Linda has always dedicated her life to serving and fighting for Nebraska's values. She believes that our state's future generations deserve all the opportunities she was given. When all other candidates fell short of Linda's expectations for Nebraska, she decided to make a run at the United States House of Representatives. Linda knows the other candidates are a dangerous threat to our state and believes she can put up a better fight. She believes the skills she has acquired during her years as a nurse at Beatrice Hospital, her leadership throughout the community as Mayor, and dedicated work on her family farm will guide her in her duties as the representative for Nebraska's 1st congressional district.

Linda Holland, whose father was governor in the 1970s, is a mother of two, wife of an insurance broker, and graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Holland is running for Nebraska Senate to fight for Nebraskans and ensure equality for everyone.
